Prof. Guohua Xie

Xiamen University

Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry and Humboldt Fellow. He received a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronic Science and Technology, a Master of Science in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics, and a Doctor of Science in Microelectronics and Solid-State Electronics from Jilin University in 2006, 2008, and 2011, respectively. From 2011 to 2012, he conducted postdoctoral research at the Institute of Applied Photophysics at Technische Universität Dresden in Germany. From 2013 to 2015, he undertook postdoctoral research in the Department of Physics and Astronomy at the University of St Andrews in the United Kingdom. Between 2015 and 2023, he served as an Associate Researcher at the College of Chemistry and Molecular Sciences at Wuhan University. In 2023, he became a Professor at Xiamen University. He has published nearly 300 research papers in internationally renowned journals such as Nature Communications, Science Advances, The Innovation, Advanced Materials, Journal of the American Chemical Society, and Angewandte Chemie International Edition, and holds 10 authorized domestic patents.

Prof. Mohd Syuhaimi Ab Rahman

Muhammad Suhaimi Rahman (SM, IEEE) from the National University of Malaysia received his Bachelor's, Master's, and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical, Electronic, and Systems Engineering from the National University of Malaysia (UKM) in Selangor, Malaysia, in 2000, 2003, and 2007, respectively. He is currently a Professor in the Department of Electrical, Electronic, and Systems Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment, UKM, and also serves as the head of the Spectrum Technology Research Group within the faculty. His research interests include optical communication systems and photonic technologies.
